Steve De Ruse

Steve De Ruse D.Min has over 35 years of multicultural ministry experience.

Steve has been a city councilman since 2011 and currently serves the City of La Mirada as Mayor. He is also on the Board of Directors for the I-5 FWY Joint Powers Authority, Board of Directors Sanitation District #18, past Chairperson for the Southeast Area Funding Authority, President of La Mirada Rotary Club, and President of the La Mirada Clergy Council.

Steve holds a Master’s Degree in Theology and a Doctor of Ministry Degree both from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. He and his wife, Mary, have been married for over 50 years and have two daughters, Adrienne, and Elaine, and two granddaughters, Sophia and Ella.
